Arfit sponsors the 26th Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Conference
On 15 October 2026, Portugal’s National Laboratory for Civil Engineering (LNEC), in Lisbon, will host the 26th Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Conference, an initiative organised by the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Specialisation Committee of the Portuguese Order of Engineers, in collaboration with the national section of REHVA and the Portuguese chapter of ASHRAE.
Arfit Climatização is proud to support this edition as a sponsor, reinforcing its close ties with the industry and its commitment to the technical and technological advancement of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration in Portugal.
Under the theme “Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration in the Energy Transition – Indoor Environmental Quality and Sustainability”, the 26th edition of the Conference will address some of the key challenges currently shaping the industry.
The energy transition calls for solutions capable of combining efficiency, environmental sustainability, indoor environmental quality and economic viability. In this context, engineering and industry play a key role in developing increasingly efficient buildings, facilities and systems that are prepared to meet new energy and environmental requirements.
Throughout the event, topics will include indoor air quality, the refurbishment of buildings and HVAC systems, decarbonisation, data centre energy efficiency, CO₂ refrigeration, natural refrigerants, indoor environment control and the impact of BMS systems on the digital transition.
The event will bring together specialists, researchers, designers, manufacturers, installers, building managers and other professionals working in the HVAC&R and engineering sectors.
